(Al-Anfal) 8 : 18
ذَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ
That Triumph for you; indeed, Lord Allah is the One Who will feeble the plot of disbelievers.
Believers are living as vicegerents of Lord Allah. So, they will not do anything according to their whims. They will not follow Satanic footsteps like selfishness, covetousness, racism, communalism as explained in verses 2: 168-169.
